Would your club benefit from a Flying coach visit?
The network have launched the coach development session request form to encourage clubs & coaches to identify topics & events which would help develop coaching knowledge locally. This process therefore ensure local opportunities are organised at a time & venue convienient to those wishing to attend. Clubs / coaches are welcome to make more than one request & can be either events specific or generic (e.g. injury prevention / psychology etc.)

Are you Ready?
The ‘Are you ready?’ campaign works as part of England Athletics Volunteer Initiative, aiming to help clubs with recruiting, retaining and rewarding volunteers. There are a range of resources and templates available to help with promoting volunteering now available through the England Athletics website. Clubs are also invited to join in the Olympic and Paralympic celebrations by hosting two great events. To celebrate the 100 days to go milestone, clubs are being invited to host a ‘Try Athletics Day’ between 16th April and 20th April 2012. Later in the year, to celebrate the finish of the Olympic Games and start of the Paralympic Games, clubs are invited to host an ‘Athletics Community Day’ with the aim of celebrating current volunteers and recruit new ones, as the London 2012 legacy begins.
